When it comes to customer service, it’s important to be likable. While your immediate reaction may be that “Not everyone is going to like me”, this is where I will tell you that you’re wrong; it is most definitely possible and good practice to behave in a likeable fashion all of the time, and understand that you have complete power and ownership of yourself in this matter. I by no means am trying to indicate that you, dear reader, are not completely likable without effort. It is merely my intention to share with you the information that you may have more control over this than you might think.
I think that one of the best ways to interact with customers, provide them with information about your brand/and or company, and build lasting relationships is to listen. Stimulate a conversation by not only talking about your brand, but rather by asking questions, and really listening to the response. This will allow you to not only understand who this prospect is and what they’re looking for, but also to specifically tailor your service in order to best suit the consumer’s needs, and leave them feeling satisfied.
Being a good listener is helpful in all forms of public relations, because in general, it helps consumers feel special, like it’s “all about them”, which is what customer service is all about. When customers leave feeling cared about, it increases the sense of value they feel they received, and results in repeat business, as well as brand loyalty.

I agree, there is an overwhelming amount of choices- try signing up for an account with Squidoo.com It’s not a full fledged blog platform per se, but it allows you to create “lenses”, which are basically a mini-blog.
